Daily Fashion Blog - Ski In Style this Winter - Shop online for Skiwear

There are those of us who love skiing for the obvious sport reasons and others (myself included) for less apparent glamorous motives. While most skiers enjoy the thrill of action on “the piste”, some prefer the more subtle way of living life in full “off-piste” catching up with friends and gossip and making new acquaintances by comparing après-skis and funky sunglasses. I can already see a couple of eyebrows raised at the thought of linking skiing to glamour, but for those of us who haven’t caught up with our adventurous partners, the only way for us to fit in is by pretending to be a professional skier, and if looking good is what it takes to fool our not so lazy friends, I for one am all for it!
Before I get carried away with more of my fashion statements, I’ll do what I’m best at which is writing about the latest trends and designer labels and (looking the part off-piste), as for the sport itself I’ll leave it to the professionals and their amateurs’ admirers to decide whether or not looking good on the job really matters.
In order to look fashionable and stylish, my only tip is to always remember that the best thing about ski clothes is that they have an excellent way of making everyone look the same weight, there are the best tool for hiding the extra flab we piled on since the start of winter and the festive season, lets face it legs look astonishingly slim under all this fur, wool and puffy anoraks (what more could a woman wish for?)
So buying the perfect outfit should not be a problem, it’s stretchy, bulky and hides everything, and when to comes to colours go bright and cheerful, with plenty of nice accessories like scarves, gloves, woolly hats, and last but not least my favourite accessory the sunglasses.
On a practical note I can’t but leave you with this piece of advice, whether you’re a keen skier, an amateur or a show-off like myself, keep warm, don’t forget to slap on the sun cream and extra moisturiser (you’ve been warned!)

Daily Fashion Blog - Trendy Designer Coats

Nothing gets me more excited about the dreaded winter cold weather, than the thought of going our shopping for stylish trendy coats. And January sales are the perfect opportunity to bag myself more than one bargain. Coats are great for the simple fact, that not other wardrobe piece has more transformation power than coat; and as for styles, no other tailored piece can be re-invented in so many ways. Always invest well when buying a coat, and ideally you should have at least three coats in your wardrobe; one for work and everyday wear, and evening coat and a trench coat for travelling and for rainy days;
Five top tips for the perfect coat:
Quality: Make quality your top priority, and remember that a coat should last you at least 2 to 3 years. A coat should protect you against cold and windy weather as well as look stylish.
Fabric: The coat’s fabric is also very important, the best coat fabrics are cashmere and wool mix.
Cut and Finish are very important; check the seams and also the stitching.
The lining: Should be thick and well stiched (good lining gives your coat a long life span
The fit: the coat should fit you perfectly, think of it as an extension of your clothes, so make sure it fits well around your shoulders, back and waist.
